As a Pastor, I was thrilled when approached by my son-in-law, Brian Sonnier, to offer free Mixed Martial Arts classes to the youth of our area.  Being a black belt in several disciplines, he was certainly qualified to teach the kids.  Here was an opportunity that would teach them not only self-defense, but many other very important qualities such as honesty, integrity, self-worth, honoring parents and all adults, etc.

We agreed to go forward with it on a Saturday and announced it on Facebook.  The next night (Sunday), we had 28 kids signed up for Mixed Martial Arts!  We currently have classes on Sunday evening, Mondays and Tuesdays.  We now have over  50 students involved every week in our program!  We hope our program expands such that we will have classes offered every day of the week!

Although it is, quite frankly, very challenging financially to our small church, we are determined to keep these classes as affordable as possible.  Currently, a student can enroll for $50 and pay only $50/mo. (This is HALF what you will pay anywhere else and it includes the uniform).
